FTI Forming Suite 2018.0 beschikbaar voor download

De nieuwe release van FTI Forming Suite genaamd FS 2018.0 is net uitgebracht en kan gedownload worden op de website van FTI. Opgelet, hiervoor heeft u een nieuwe licentie nodig die u kan verkrijgen via Produsoft.

Lees hieronder wat er allemaal nieuw en verbeterd is!

Algemene updates

1) Introduced first version of new Prog Die Process workbench for users with Process Planner

2) Improved images in all reports - reduced white space, improved aspect ratio

3) Enhanced wizard to provide more options within workbenches (geometry, nesting, process planner)

4) Updated regeneration engine to eliminate regeneration when it shouldn't be necessary:

- Remeshing after changing material or properties

- Resolving after changing material cost/forming limit diagram properties

- Redefining features/process after changing material cost/forming limit diagram properties

5) Old report generation data is automatically cleaned from temp folder

Geometry Workbench

1) Updated geometry translators to support latest versions of supported CAD formats

2) Improved notch filling to handle more complex cases

Process Setup Workbench

1) Added Target Strains forming condition to simulate strain distribution on class A panels (FFA, COA)

2) Added Auto Blankholder forming condition to automatically generate results for multiple blankholder scenarios to aid in part feasibility studies (FFA)

3) Flipping the press direction will now affect the orientation of the blank (up/down) in Blank Geometry

Forming Workbench

Updated element formulation for direct multistage (DFIT) solver (MS)

Springback Workbench

Updated element formulation in springback solver for better results (FFA, FI, MS, COA)

Blank Geometry Workbench

Orientation of blank face is now dependent upon press direction. If blank is upside down, flip the press direction

Incremental Workbench (IN)

1) Added option to turn off auto position and use tooling in current position

2) Added option to turn off auto stroke calculation and set stroke manually

3) Updated Gravity and Binder Closing solver and improved symmetry

Stretch Web Workbench (PN, CO)

Center carriers are now converted to solid carriers and can be moved and edited within the layout

Line Die Plan (PP/LDP)

1) Introduced Regional die estimation settings

- Customizable Region and Supplier database

- Customizable Labour rates for each supplier

- Customizable Die build for each supplier (Boiler plate, casting, separate and gang dies)

2) Introduced Customizable Die Material database for die components

3) New tool to synchronize part orientation (tip) between multiple operations

4) Cam definitions are now kept when moving a feature from one operation to another

5) Scrap is now shown in 3D when geometry is imported from SDF

6) Added option to specify shut height rather than let software calculate min value

7) Improved interference checks and display

8) Report now includes cost calculations for multiple suppliers/regions

9) Part orientation information has been added to summary table

10) Supplier/region/currency information is now shown at top of summary table

11) Updated automated operations setup and validation AI

Prog Die Plan (PP/PDP)

1) Excel report has been converted to XML technology

2) Added functionality to display trim/pierce approach angle

3) New tool to synchronize part orientation (tip) between multiple operations

4) Cam definitions are now kept when moving a feature from one operation to another

5) Part features display is active during feature definition/editing

6) Summary table now displays part orientation

7) Updated automated operations setup and validation AI
